What is your experience of online and telephone GP appointments?

November 13, 2020

Healthwatch Solihull act as the voice of the public in the delivery of health and social care services. We use feedback from the public about their experiences of using services and use that feedback to influence service providers and commissioners to improve services.

We are currently investigating people’s experiences of online and telephone GP appointments.

This topic was chosen after Healthwatch Solihull analysed feedback from the public over the last year found GP appointment access via telephone/online frequently mentioned along with other topics. With the COVID-19 pandemic reducing the number of face to face appointments and interactions in GP surgeries, it is even more important to investigate people’s experiences of the use of technology in access to GP services.

We are asking the public to take part in our survey to collect your experiences of accessing GP surgery services via technology. The survey takes only 5 minutes, is anonymous and will be used to write a report on people’s experiences of online and telephone GP appointments.
