COVID-19: Critical workers offered rapid covid test at three test sites in Solihull
During lockdown Solihull Council are prioritising asymptomatic testing of critical (key) workers at their local testing sites.
Anyone with COVID symptoms MUST book on-line via the online national booking system, www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test or by phoning 119.
If you DO NOT have COVID symptoms and are a critical worker who:
- lives or works in Solihull
- is unable to work from home
- does not already receive regular testing through their employer
- is aged 16 or over
You can access a test at one of the following sites:
Newington Resource Centre:
Newington Road, Marston Green, B37 7RW
This walk-through test site is open for appointments between 10.00am and 12.00pm and 1.00pm and 4.00pm (Mon-Fri).
Tudor Grange Leisure Centre:
Blossomfield Road, B91 1NB
This walk-through test site is open for appointments for:
- Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.30pm (last booking at 5.20pm)
- Saturday and Sunday 10.00am-1.30pm (last booking at 1.20pm)
North Solihull Sports Centre:
Conway Road, Solihull, B37 5LA
This walk-through test site opens tomorrow (Thursday 28 January) at 12.00pm.
Normal opening hours for this site are:
- Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.30pm (last booking at 5:25pm)
- Saturday and Sunday 10.00am-1.30pm (last booking at 1.25pm)
You will need to book an appointment at www.solihull.gov.uk/COVID-19/covidtesting to visit one of the council testing sites sites to get a rapid COVID test. (No walk-in appointments are available).
