Decline in service since SHP merger
The surgery was much better before it joined the SHP partnership. Appointments are no longer easy to access, despite coming and queuing first thing in the morning. I often queue between 8am and 9am and leave disappointed because I have not been able to book an appointment. The phone system is not fit for purpose and its impossible to get through. The surgery has lost the personal touch it previously had, and you could see a number of doctors that you have never met before, and who know nothing about your previous medical history. The system is very frustrating and seeking medical advice from your GP is now an unpleasant experience.
