Unable to get appointments - It took my hospital to write to them even then I had to wait 4 weeks for telephone call. An appointment was offered later on the same day. When I did get to finally see the doctor about my health issue, they made a comment stating "not many people live to your age". I was shocked by the comment and found it discriminating due to my age. I am already on painkillers but they gave me no alternative medication or advice on it. The positive of the service is that they do review my medication but with regards to my BP i have to monitor this at home and provide them with the result. They have not called me in for BP check.
