The Castle Practice

It can be difficult to get appointments here as well as it being awkward to get repeat prescriptions. It is not possible to collect prescriptions early when necessary and medications are regularly not in stock which leaves me with concerns about being able to get them in the future.

I had a diabetes check up here with a district nurse. Everything was great and I can't fault the care she provided.

It can be difficult getting appointments but the receptionists are lovely and really try their hardest to help.

The service here is poor. I phoned 82 times and couldn't get through in time to get an appointment. I requested to see a doctor and was told they are not in today even though I was told last week that they would be. No one is helping and it seems as if nobody cares despite clear signs that my condition is worsening.

This service is wonderful. One doctor in particular is excellent but unfortunately she is retiring soon. I am happy with the appointment system but the problem is that they are only 10 minutes and you can only discuss one matter.

I have no problems with this service at all. I can access appointments easily and the doctors are great.

My experience is overall good but it can be hard getting an appointment when you work full time. To be sure of getting an appointment you have to call right as the phonelines open or attend the surgery in person. This is impossible when you work. I have struggled to get an appointment for my mental health but with the help of a healthcare professional I managed to get an appointment for the next day, which I know is not how they normally operate. The doctors are very good.

The service is not as good as it was prior to the pandemic, but they are slowly improving. I would not go anywhere else as I have heard worse stories about other doctors surgeries, and I have been with them for over 40 years. I can usually get an appointment on the same day when I really need one, and the doctors are good.

I have found the service good. I have no problem getting appointments when I need one and the staff and doctors are very good.

My experience of The Castle Practice has been alright. I have found them to be good with my baby. Getting an appointment is not very easy, you have to queue on the phone for a long time before you get through.
