Chester Road Surgery

Doctor Scott was fantastic and this service does not provide the same level of care now that they have retired. I needed to phone the hospital just to get an appointment here recently.

A lot has changed at the surgery since covid. I phone at 8am and if I get through I still struggle to get an appointment. There's an app to book through but it has never worked for me. There are no longer surgery's held on Wednesday or Thursday afternoons now either. The doctors are great when I get to see them, and have been very supportive during my recovery following a head injury.

The doctors are excellent when I can get in. Recently they could not help me over the telephone, so I came down to the surgery and they saw me straight away. I needed an appointment a week later and I saw a doctor who was very good. I was given a letter and told to go straight to the hospital. I no longer live locally but remained at this surgery because I am very happy with the service they offer and the care they provide.

I attended with my son who needed a blood test. Being nearly an adult I asked if we could book an appointment. The receptionist called up to the nurse who came down to speak to us. She said that because of his age and that he'd had a blood test before she would be happy to do it if we were. She was amazing with my son (who has ASD). She was reassuring and did the blood test with ease. A fantastic surgery with a personable feel. A visit to the hospital would have been huge ordeal for my son, and I am extremely grateful for the outstanding service we received.

First time at this surgery, was not able to get an appointment at Bosworth Medical Centre. The service was very good. Was not waiting long at all, the doctor was excellent with my autistic son. They spoke directly to my son explaining the different options of investigation and/or treatment. The doctor was very thorough. Only negative I can comment on is the parking which was difficult on a residential road with limited parking spaces.

I was offered an appointment at Chester Road surgery when I could not be seen at my own surgery (Bosworth Medical Centre). It was the first time I have visited this surgery. My experience was good. I was seen in good time and the doctor was great. They listened to my concerns, and were thorough in their examination.

Chester Road surgery provide a very good service. I find appointments easy to access, and the staff are brilliant.

I have attended this surgery when they have been unable to fit me in at Bosworth Medical Centre. They provide a good service, the staff are friendly and the doctors are good.

The surgery is very good. I have never had any problems getting an appointment when I need one. The doctors are very nice and helpful. The midwife here is excellent, she is very thorough, and does not let me leave the surgery until she has spoken directly to the hospital. She chases up hospital appointments on my behalf.

I have no complaints at all about the surgery. They provide a very good service with access available when it's needed.
